Turner-Gary Sports has been an industry leader in sports talent representation for over 30 years. Representing All Stars, World Series Champions, and Hall-of-Fame players as well as managers, coaches and young players chasing their dreams, Turner-Gary Sports offers a personal brand of client management that is becoming increasingly rare. Our mission is to help a select group of great clients transform their careers and their lives. The mutual respect we share with our clients – which began as our mission statement – is now our reputation.

OUR TEAM

Rex Gary, President and CEO

Rex Gary co-founded Turner-Gary Sports in 1991 with a longtime friend, Jim Turner, who retired in 2016 and remains a valued consultant. As an attorney with an extensive litigation background, Rex has negotiated some of the industry’s most significant contracts and is an industry leader in the preparation and presentation of salary arbitration cases. Rex formerly served as an Assistant District Attorney (Delaware County, Pennsylvania) and was a litigation partner in a large Philadelphia law firm. Rex is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States Supreme Court. He is a Certified Player Agent by the Major League Baseball Players Association. He has also served as outside counsel to the National Hockey League Players Association for over 25 years. Rex received a B.A. from Denison University and a J.D. from Suffolk Law School in Boston.

Maureen Currier,
Client Services

Maureen joined Turner-Gary Sports in June of 1991. She has been a valued assistant to Rex in client marketing opportunities, salary arbitration preparation and the administration of clients’ business affairs.

Eric Sobocinski
Certified MLBPA Agent

As an attorney, Eric has represented athletes since 1995. His law practice focuses on the areas of taxation, estate planning, charitable giving, and business. He received a B.A. in Psychology from Villanova University and a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law. Eric pitched in the Philadelphia Phillies organization from 1991-1992. Eric is a member of the North Carolina State Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the Federal District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of North Carolina. Eric is certified by the Major League Baseball Players Association.

Chris Williams,
Business Manager

Chris first joined Turner-Gary Sports in 1991 and remains with the company as a business/bookkeeping consultant. Chris is a licensed investment broker and although she does not advise or engage in the investment areas, her knowledge is valuable in coordinating clients’ business affairs with their financial planners and accountants.
